DESCRIPTION OF WATER-BASED ANILINES

The anilines in water are concentrated dyes in powder form which, dissolved in the appropriate solvent (water), form a solution with a high coloring power, ideal for performing coloring on any wooden surface. Water-based anilines are characterized by practical use, high gloss, excellent light stability and the ability to leave visible and at the same time enhance the grain of the treated wood.

APPLICATION OF ANILINE TO WATER

For the use of anilines it is necessary to dissolve them in water or better still in demineralized water in concentrations varying from 1% to 4% (4% = 40 g of aniline per 1 liter of water) and in any case until the desired intensity is obtained. Once the solution of the chosen color is obtained, the wood is dyed, which can be performed by immersion, spray, brush or pad. Leave to dry depending on the type of dilution used ; in the case of the product being diluted with water , drying time is between 12 and 24 hrs. Sand paper lightly than finish with synthetic or shellac based varnishes. Water-based anilines are easier to use than alcohol-based anilines because even going over the same spot several times, there is no risk of leaving stains because the water evaporates more slowly than alcohol.
