DRAGON'S BLOOD (Latin: Sanguis draconis)

Natural resin from the Dracaena Draco palm tree. For preparing golden varnish and glaze dye.

Used for coloring varnishes and in watercolor techniques. Traditional use for staining varnishes in finishing wooden musical instruments.

Soluble in alcohol.
