PARALOID B44 1KG – B07007

 

Paraloid B44 is a resin for protecting objects against destructive weather conditions (butyl methacrylate). The most important feature is very high resistance to light (does not turn yellow), water, aqueous solutions of acids, alkalis, salts and microorganisms. After drying, it forms a hard and transparent coating. Praloid B-44 solutions are used to bond metal corrosion products with a metallic core, protecting the surface of objects against the destructive effects of weather conditions.

A mixture of Paraloid and various types of filler is an excellent filler for gaps in metal objects. It is used in solutions from 8% to 15% depending on the purpose. Resin in granules, soluble in acetone, toluene, nitro and white spirit.
